Samford University’s Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry presented its annual academic honors at the close of the disrupted spring semester.
Hannah Hynds earned the department’s Outstanding Senior Chemistry Student Award.
Abigail Bradford, Claudia Stephens and Erin Prester earned the Wheeler Medal, presented to students who have earned a GPA of 3.75 or above for the first time
Jeb Jones earned the Seal Medal, presented to students who have earned a GPA of 3.75 or above for the second time.
Markayla Bell, Sydney Bottcher, Kathryn Estes, Leah Halls, Allison Nelson, Molly Ervin and Hannah Walker earned the Tower Medal, presented to students who have between 63 and 95 credit hours, and have maintained a 3.75 or above GPA
Lauren Gattie and Will Southall earned the Howard Medal, presented to students who who have earned at least 96 credit hours or more while maintaining a 3.75 or higher GPA.
