Four Samford students worked with Birmingham folk-rock band War Jacket to produce a music video for their newest single, “Water Wings.”

Stephen Stinson, Chenelle Terry, Adrienne Ramos and Kayla Shaffer created the music video as part of their Film Production minor. Stinson, who directed the video, said it ended up being a "bigger production than just a class project.”

“I think we all almost drowned in the pool while filming, but it was well worth it,” he said. “We really pulled the video together.”

Samford’s interdisciplinary Film Production minor is housed in the Journalism and Mass Communication department. This program allows students to learn about and create short films, feature-length films, documentaries and music videos.

War Jacket released the video for “Water Wings” on Tuesday, and it can be viewed on YouTube.

Other students in the Film Production minor produced a music video for musician and Samford alum Josh Sizemore. Their video can be viewed on YouTube.
