More than 60 Howard College of Arts and Sciences faculty, staff, alumni, students, parents and donors attended a celebration of the college's undergraduate research emphasis in Pete Hanna Center Jan. 30.
The college teamed-up with Samford's men’s and women’s basketball to highlight ASPIRE--the Arts and Sciences Program in Independent Research. The fellowship of the barbeque supper continued into the games as ASPIRE students were honored at center court.
ASPIRE, founded in 2004 as the Summer Undergraduate Research Program, is a one-on-one guided summer research experience created by individual students and faculty. To learn more about supporting the program please contact Stacy Gay, Advancement Officer for Howard College of Arts and Sciences, at (205) 602-4294 or sgay@samford.edu.
