Norma Mullis, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, has been an adjunct Spanish professor at Samford University since 2004. She now serves full-time as a Spanish Instructor and as the College Coordinator of Assessment for all the major programs in the Howard College of Arts and Sciences. Her professional interests include 21st century learning skills in the foreign language classroom, university assessment, leadership and administration. She is most passionate about getting students to teach themselves and become curious and skilled learners. She has two daughters, Clayton and Susanna, and enjoys spending time with them, traveling, hiking and almost anything involving the outdoors.
