Megan Connor obtained her BS in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Michigan. Her doctoral research investigated the teaching and learning of NMR spectroscopy utilizing techniques such as eye-tracking and think-aloud interviewing. Before joining the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Samford, she worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of South Florida to investigate postsecondary chemistry instructional practices. Connor has authored numerous chemistry education research articles that appear in the Journal of Organic Chemistry, the Journal of Chemical Education  and Chemistry Education Research and Practice. She has also authored a book chapter published by the Royal Society of Chemistry. Her ongoing chemistry education research focuses on supporting learning among students from all backgrounds.

In her free time, Connor enjoys reading and helping her husband, Evan, pastor their local church.
