Ana Wright is a music minor at Samford University studying flute under Lisa Weinhold, the principal flutist of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. At Samford, Ana is a member of the Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, and Orchestra, and she served as the principal flutist for the premier of  Dragon’s Breath in 2023, and of Tomorrow the Island Dies in 2024. Before coming to Samford, Ana participated in the Alabama All-State Band from 2018-2022 and was a leader in her high school marching band and wind ensemble. Ana loves sharing the joy of music through both performing and teaching, and she considers it a great privilege to watch her students grow in their abilities and their love of the flute.
