Amy Anderson is a visual artist and arts educator based in Birmingham, AL. She began teaching art in 2015 and has since worked with all ages and skill levels. Amy has served with the Hoover Arts Alliance and the Bluff Park Art Association. She firmly believes that art is beneficial for our overall wellness, and is an advocate for more art classes in the community with her first book, "Become a Teaching Artist: The Ultimate Guide". In addition to teaching, Amy creates abstract floral paintings heavily influenced by the joy and movement of wildflower fields.  Amy is teaching art for home schoolers and adult art classes at Samford Academy of the Arts.
